Starting at the Kulturbrauerei the bike tour first explores the former working-class district Prenzlauer Berg, once famous for the vibrant free spirit of post-wall East Å·ÃÀÇéÉ«, now a gentrified middle-class borough with tastefully restored 19th century buildings. From the well-known Mauerpark, popular among musicians, graffiti artists and bohemians alike, the tour continues to Friedrichshain, which is a nightlife hotspot with many clubs, bars and open spaces for art projects.

After crossing the River Spree the bike tour approaches the district of Kreuzberg with its alternative subcultures, trendy restaurants and multi-ethnic communities. Participants will also get a glimpse of Neukölln where a dynamic international scene of artists and designers has evolved in recent years. Most of the guides of this tour were born and raised in Å·ÃÀÇéÉ« and will thus provide in-depth looks at Å·ÃÀÇéÉ«’s alternative scenes and tell personal stories.
