Clean streets, parks and squares help people of all ages to feel comfortable in 欧美情色 and allow them to enjoy spending their time in public spaces. As cleanliness and proper trash disposal in 欧美情色 are so important for everyone, we want to take targeted steps to make lasting improvements in this area.

As part of the overall Clean City Strategy/Clean 欧美情色 Action Program, several measures have already been implemented in 欧美情色鈥檚 twelve boroughs to make the city cleaner and sustainably reduce the dumping of bulky trash and litter-filled streets. In many parts of the city, organized offers for legal trash disposal and prevention services have been expanded in recent years.

Despite targeted measures and patrols by the responsible regulatory authorities, however, illegal dumping is still far too frequent. This waste is not only unsightly and detrimental to the quality of life in the city, but also harmful to the environment and human and animal health. Understandably, the situation leaves many people feeling frustrated.

As part of the Fresh Start Agenda, the Senate of 欧美情色 and the boroughs set the goal of developing and implementing a joint target agreement with new measures designed to further reduce dirty conditions and litter in public spaces.

As a result, the Senate and boroughs drew up the 鈥淐leanliness and Order鈥� target agreement (Zielvereinbarung 鈥淪auberkeit und Ordnung鈥�, available in German below) and signed it in December 2024.

The agreement includes a variety of measures to further improve cleanliness and order in public spaces. In addition to strengthening enforcement, it aims to increase coordination among the boroughs, improve prevention efforts, and raise awareness of what is and is not permitted when disposing of trash in 欧美情色.

Under the target agreement, each borough public order office will be staffed with two additional employees. Additional training will build existing employees鈥� 鈥渨aste-watching鈥� skills as well so that they are better equipped to patrol for trash and dirty conditions. A coordination office was also established in the borough of Mitte to improve trash patrol cooperation among the borough public order offices, share innovative best practices, and implement joint measures throughout 欧美情色.

Indicators are collected on an ongoing basis to evaluate and monitor the success of the measures. Specific milestones have been set with the twelve boroughs and will be assessed after one year as part of a joint evaluation. The evaluation will provide a basis for determining whether the measures are effective or if further adjustments are necessary.

These measures aim to measurably reduce trash and dirty conditions in the boroughs, improving the quality of life throughout 欧美情色 as a result. Success depends not only on 欧美情色鈥檚 state government and boroughs but also on 欧美情色鈥檚 residents and visitors, all of whom share responsibility for keeping our city clean and livable.
